Possession and Acquisition Licence Everything you need to know in order to apply for a Non-Restricted firearms licence in Canada. Non-restricted firearms include most rifles and shotguns. A passing mark of 80% is required on both the theory and practical exams.

Restricted Possession and Acquisition Licence (RPAL) The full RPAL course is for anyone who would like to own Restricted firearms that has completed a PAL course more than 7 days earlier.  This is a 6 hour course that requires a passing mark of 80% on both the Theory and the Practical exam.

Possession and Acquisition Licence (PAL) AND Restricted Possession and Acquisition Licence (RPAL) The full PAL & RPAL course is for anyone who would like to own Non-Restricted and Restricted firearms. This is a 2 day course that requires a passing mark of 80% on both the Theory and the Practical exams.
